Jeff Berkus has over 35 years of experience in climate and architecture. He currently serves as Director of Special Initiatives at Pulse Fund, a venture capital fund investing in scalable growth-stage climate companies. Jeff is the Chairman Emeritus of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, Board of Directors, and also serves as a Founding Board Member for the Living Peace Foundation. He has been the lead designer and principal architect for the Aspen Institute for the last 17 years. He brings a creative and sensitive approach to design, patterns, and climate solutions. Jeff is a Limited Partner at Lowercase Capital, Frontier Capital, and Lowercarbon Capital. They have invested across many sectors in companies such as Twitter, Uber, Commonwealth Fusion, Mosa Meats and Antora, among others. For 32 years, Jeff was the Owner and Designer of Jeffrey Berkus Architects, a renowned architecture and design firm that was a Gold List Honoree in 2019. Jeff graduated from the College of Environmental Design at The University of Colorado, Boulder.
