Tony Hubbard is a Principal with KPMG and currently leads KPMG’s Federal Cybersecurity consulting practice. Tony has over 32 years of experience in providing business and technology consulting services, notably to United States Federal Government entities. Tony has been with KPMG for over 25 years and prior to KPMG served as a cybersecurity auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. Tony has supported many Federal Government agencies, including large and complex entities such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Energy, Homeland Security, Treasury, and Housing and Urban Development.
Tony specializes in supporting client transformation efforts across many cybersecurity domains, including Zero Trust, DevSecOps, automation, cloud transformation, threat intelligence, incident response, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidance, such as the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and supporting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance. Tony has authored many professional articles, appeared in media outlets such as “Government Matters” and “FedNewsRadio”, and has presented at conferences on cybersecurity topics. Tony is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
