As Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Ho-Chunk, Inc.. Hamilton oversees the daily operations of more than 30 Ho-Chunk subsidiary companies, making visits to all operations. Hamilton is responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and corporate business plans. She also appraises and makes executive decisions on prospective corporate acquisitions and expansion. Hamilton advocates and makes numerous political contacts regionally and nationally on behalf of corporate and subsidiary interests.
The Winnebago Tribe started Ho-Chunk, Inc. in 1994 to help its people by creating jobs and diversifying the Tribe’s revenue. Their mission has since evolved to create both an economy and middle class on the reservation – measurably improving life in less than a generation. Hamilton is an enrolled member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas.
